
8 Week MSC , In Person, with Zoe Shobbrook-Fisher
This compassion training programme uses meditations, daily activities, self-reflection and group learning to directly experience self-compassion and learn an approach that can be applied straight away in all aspects of your life – where we really need it! If you want to live more wholeheartedly, are exhausted by your inner critic, feeling discouraged by fear of failure or wishing for more ease in your relationships this course is for you.
There are 8 x 3 hr classes (all with 15 min tea break) and a 4 hr retreat. Each session features meditations, daily life practices, self-reflective exercises, and group sharing. A workbook and my own guided meditations complement the in-class learning.
MSC is therapeutic, but it’s not therapy insofar as the emphasis is on building emotional resources, rather than addressing old wounds. Positive change occurs naturally as we develop the capacity to be with ourselves in a kinder, more compassionate way.
