About Introductory Workshops

This two and a half hour in person introductory workshop will give you a good overview of the principles both of mindfulness and of self-compassion. If you ever feel as though you might benefit from being a little more present and aware in the midst of life so you can make some calmer and potentially wiser decisions – and maybe of being kinder to yourself too – then this workshop will give a helpful overview as to how this might be achieved.
It can be a completely stand alone workshop or it might be a springboard for you to take things further by way of a course, regular class, retreat day or other events. It is equally helpful for those who are completely new to mindfulness and for those who might like a refresher or to try a slightly different approach.

What to expect

The workshop will include a combination of theoretical input, guided meditation, experiential exercises and group discussion. It will be held in a friendly and informal format with plenty of opportunity for questions along the way. There will also be time for refreshments.
