About Me
Bridgeen is a pioneer of mindfulness and mindful self-compassion classes for the general public in Northern Ireland, she first began offering mindfulness classes back in 2007.
Bridgeen has a Masters in Mindfulness Based Approaches (Msc) from Bangor University, Wales. She is also a qualified yoga teacher (YFNI), Reiki Master and a lover of the slow down movement. You can watch her 2014 TEDx talk on YouTube via her website.
Bridgeen did a MSC 5-day retreat with Chris Germer in ireland in 2015 and the following year a teacher training retreat with Kristen Neff and Bangor University the following year. So she is an accredited and trained Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC)
Bridgeen has completed training in Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) at the Oxford Mindfulness Centre, Oxford University and completed Positive Neuroplasticity Professional Training with Dr Rick Hanson and Google’s ‘Search Inside Yourself’ Mindfulness, Emotional Intelligence and Leadership Training with SIYLI.
Bridgeen is a proud member of Thich Nhat Hanh’s Order of Interbeing with the dharma name: True Profound Happiness. Bridgeen has studied extensively with the international Plum Village mindfulness community since first visiting in July 2005.
Bridgeen was Centra’s Mindfulness Ambassador in 2017-2019 and an associate trainer for the HSC. She led the Action for Happiness course ‘Exploring What Matters’ a first for Northern Ireland, in summer 2018.

She is also a mum to a beautiful Bediha born June 2021 and Buddy the cockapoo born July 2020.
