I am a Trained Mindful Self Compassion Teacher and a Trained Mindfulness in Schools Teacher (MiSP). I am also a Qualified Counsellor and experienced Youth Worker and Workshop/Group Facilitator. I have practiced Mindfulness for many years, most recently trained with Steve Hickman, Vanessa Hope and Ali Lambie, with whom I have co-taught the 8 week Mindful Self Compassion Course. I am currently running a Mindfulness Drop-In at Breast Cancer Haven, will be running MSC and MiSP courses throughout the year and I continue my studies at Bangor University, teaching the 8 week MBSR (Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction) course online in 2021.
Mindfulness practice in my life continues to evolve personally and professionally and is a constant anchor of reassurance and stability for my emotional, mental and physical health and wellbeing. Adding Self Compassion to my Mindfulness practice has deepened my relationship with myself and allowed me to reach a richer and kinder depth of self care and self acceptance. The passion I have expands to my teaching and my desire to support and facilitate others in their own journeys.
